The Kings HS Choir Family and 45 Alumni from around the nation gathered to sing “Love Has Broken Down the Wall” by Mark A. Miller at our celebration of 20 years called “DYNASTY”. Singers sang under the direction of Hope Milthaler at Kings HS between 2004-2024.

The St. Vincent - St. Mary Marching Band from Akron, Ohio was invited by the Lord Mayor of Dublin Caroline Conroy to perform in the 2024 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland, one of the oldest and largest St. Patrick’s Day parades in the world. Band director Brian Campbell planned an exciting 8-day itinerary giving students the opportunity to explore Ireland and learn more about European and Irish culture, as well as prepare for this incredible performance opportunity. 

Parents, alumni, friends of the band and the greater Akron community raised enough money to allow every student who wanted to go to Ireland the opportunity (including last year’s graduating Seniors who worked hard for this trip as well) pay to ship uniforms and instruments, and bring each students’ cost down to $2500.  It was a tremendous effort to give these students a once in a lifetime opportunity.
