Canfield High School
The Canfield Symphonic and Concert Bands performed at OMEA District 5 Large Group Contest. Both groups received superior ratings and will participate at OMEA State Large Group at North Royalton High School.


Indian Lake Music Department

Liberty Local Schools
As part of their Opus 88 project the Liberty High School Band under the direction of Michael Summers and the Ohio State University under the direction of Dr. Scott Jones held a side by side rehearsal and master classes as well as a side by side concert at Stambaugh Auditorium.
The Liberty Middle School bands combined with the Hubbard Middle School 7th and 8th grade bands in our 20th annual Exchange Concert at Stambaugh Auditorium. Each band has the opportunity to perform two pieces on their own then combine on two pieces.
Lima City Schools
Lima City Schools marked Music in Our Schools Month with an unforgettable All-City Choir Concert on March 13, 2025. The event brought together 175 talented singers from four district schools, representing grades 7-12. In a heartfelt gesture, Lima Mayor Sharetta Smith presented a proclamation declaring March 2025 as "Music in Our Schools Month" in Lima.
The concert featured six dynamic sets of music, showcasing the impressive vocal talents of various choirs. The Lima Senior High School choirs performed alongside the combined 7th and 8th grade choirs from Liberty Arts Magnet, South Science & Technology Magnet, and Lima West Middle School. The grand finale included a powerful performance of "We Will Rise Up Together" by Jim Papoulis and "Heartbeat" by Kyle Pedersen, sung by all of the students as one unified choir.

Lima City Schools continues its celebration of Music in Our Schools Month with additional All City Band and All City Orchestra concerts, providing more opportunities for students to showcase their musical talents throughout the month.

Princeton Community Middle School
During MIOSM the Princeton Community School in Cincinnati, Ohio held a Mural Unveiling. The Mural is titled UNITED, and was created by Senior band member Mitchell Kessler.
Richmond Heights
Richmond Heights choral director Molly Raimondi celebrated Music in Our Schools Month with an open mic night!
Wauseon Middle School

Westlake City Schools
The seventh and eighth grade bands from Lee Burneson Middle School in Westlake (D4) attended Junior High LGAE for the first time in nearly 25 years! This was a combined high school and junior high event and allowed them the opportunity to participate in a sight-reading clinic of the HS class C piece with Tom Brucoli.
