The Ohio Music Education Association is thrilled to invite you to the 2025 Ohio Music Education Professional Development Conference, to be held February 6-8, 2025, at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, the Cleveland Marriott at Key Center, and the Hilton Cleveland Downtown. This annual event brings together music educators from across the state and beyond for three days of professional development, networking, and inspiring performances.

Conference Highlights

  • Cleveland Orchestra Chorus: Don’t miss a remarkable performance by the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra Chorus on Thursday, February 6 at 7:30 PM. Their artistry will set the tone for an unforgettable weekend of music.
  • Stanton’s Reading Session and JECO Jam Session: These beloved sessions return, offering participants the chance to explore new music selections and enjoy music performed by colleagues and jazz enthusiasts.
  • New Spaces for 2025: Experience sessions in the newly remodeled Atrium, complete with exciting new session rooms and a grand ballroom that will elevate this year’s event.

A Packed Schedule of Over 300 Events

This year’s conference features more than 300 events, including:
  • 35 performing ensembles showcasing the talents of students and educators across Ohio.
  • 5 All-State ensembles representing the best young musicians from across the state.
  • Sessions covering all genres and teaching levels, from early childhood education to advanced instrumental techniques.
  • Meetings and receptions where you can connect with colleagues and leaders in the field.
