As the school year winds down and the weather warms up, it’s clear that spring is in full effect. With only about a month left in the 2025–2026 academic year, I hope this season has been one of significant growth and rewarding experiences for you and your students.
I want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who contributed to TRIAD this year by sharing photos, articles, and teaching strategies. If you haven’t had the chance to contribute yet, I encourage you to share your ideas with our colleagues across Ohio in the coming year.

In This Issue:

This edition of TRIAD features insights on:
  • Creative Listening: Tips for engagement in the general music and orchestra classrooms
  • Good Vibrations: Uplifting stories and messages from our membership
  • Music Matters: Our new collaboration promoting music education access

Would you like to be a part of the next issue of TRIAD? There are multiple ways you can contribute and we’d love to hear from you!
  • Submit an article: Share a technique or project that has worked well for you! All areas can share articles so we have a diverse representation in TRIAD. You can include video clips, photos, and links to make your article even more effective and useful for our members.
  • Share your activities: Did you have a special event, guest, or concert? Share a few sentences and some photos or video clips so we can show each other all the exciting music making that is happening throughout the state! We will feature these entries in our “Teaching in Action” section.
  • Share your Photos: Using the same form as Share Your Activities you can simply share a photo (or several) of your groups – let us know what the group is and we can recognize your group in TRIAD. Please check that students in the photos have photo release permissions before submitting photos.
